More about Me: I have spent my life in the South and would have it no other way (mainly because I hate cold weather). Atlanta is my current home, although I have lived a few different places around the Southeast. I am a current events Junkie. News is on in my house nearly all day. I worked out of my home until recently when I was let go due to the current horrid state of our country's economy. I do spend a lot of time taking care of my children, however they are a part of my life, not my entire life. I love to write and to read anything I can get my hands on. I love politics and keep a very close watch with what's going on in our country. I am a terrible cook, a mediocre housekeeper, and tend to keep sarcasm alive in my world. As they say, sanity is in short supply, but sarcasim is abundant! If a book could best describe me, it would be Dr. Suess's My Many Colored Days. I hate schedules, but need to know what's coming in front of me. I am very personable, but hate to make new friends. I see everything in gray, not black and white. I seem to understand both sides of every story so find it hard to take a stand on issues at times (that may be the journalist in me). I am open minded and realize that my opinions are but mine and that there are many ideas out there that should be heard. I am finally to the point in my life where I need to stop making excuses for things I have not done and move forward to be the best person I can be. Writing is my solace in this crazy life and I have made a new committment to myself to do so no matter how much rejection I may get. If I am only writing for me, then that's okay too. I am now living by the motto, Results, Not Excuses!
