This week....

Stephen Colbert and farm workers across America are major! Pitching back to the constant struggle against immigration reform, agricultural workers, with help and spotlight from Colbert, are calling all unemployed Americans to come take their jobs. I love this for several reasons. First being that I believe we live in a spoiled society where most people would rather gripe than grow, whine than work, or cry than continue onward. The complaints of job thievery are being put to the test- you want the jobs? Put your working boots where your mouth is and come and get it! Secondly, I am a bonafide farmers daughter and know better than most that one day in a 104º field can be more punishment than weeks locked in your room- trust! So maybe this is the perfect way of handling disputes in general. Blaming your loss of employment on immigrants- work beside them. Want to keep the war going? Grab your camo and help the boys out! Think Kate G is a bitch? Borrow 8 kids for a week alone and measure your skills. If you can do it- bravo! Bitch, scream, protest, judge because you know!

Homemade retreats are major! The one below was renovated by Sandra Foster for only $3000, furnishings included!!! Originally a Catskills Hunting Cabin, she now uses it as her private getaway and truly girly place. UH-MAZING!!! Wonder how my garage would convert?

Lastly, Obama endorsing LGBT Pride month is major! Even small steps can travel long distances over time! Support your local pride movements this month and every month.
