viewsBed-hopping happiness
By Lucky Mama, Tuesday, March 9, 2010, 2 commentsI have to admit I love it when my kids sneak into my bed at night.
When I hear the shuffle of those little feet, I’m instantly awake and happy. I throw back the covers and pull whichever boy it is into my arms.
If it’s 4-year-old A.J., he wraps his lanky arms and legs around me, smooches me and falls right to sleep as I cuddle him.
If it’s 2-year-old Max, he says, “I want the middle.” So I lift him over me and he puts his little butt up in the air, buries his head in the pillow and closes his eyes as I put an arm around him.
I fall asleep content, no worries in the world – after all, it’s my husband he kicks in the back, not me.
