Paul Newman star of "Hud" and "Hombre" and other films launched a food products line and oversaw donations of some $280 million to charitable causes he endorsed.  Here he is seen wearing a "neck skirt" (OK, it's a "ruff," a middle ages style that went out centuries ago).  It was worn by both sexes as seen in many art masterpieces.
