I heard pieces of this on the radio yesterday that I had never heard. What an incredible speech it is in its entirety. The story goes from Coretta Scott King, that he spoke from the heart when he broke into the "I have a dream" part towards the end. Apparently, that was not written down and he was inspired to speak those words.
Here is the speech and it still gives me chills. Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day.

I know what you mean. I watched a special on him yesterday on the History Channel, and they aired this. I, too, hear snippets that somehow managed to escape me in the past. They said he "accidentally" fell into the role of civil rights leader, which makes me thing he was DESTINED to be it. When you hear him speak, it gives you goosebumps, as though some "higher power" is speaking through him.
