viewsBBQ and it's Slow-Roasted, Saucy Goodness
By Pretty_Southern, Monday, October 17, 2011My parents are from eastern North Carolina and I believe I inherited their genetic disposition for good barbecue. Growing up in the South we learn to love BBQ at a young age. Pulled pork sandwiches, Brunswick stew, babyback ribs, brisket...you name it, we eat it slathered in tangy sauce.
One of my favorite places in Atlanta to get a BBQ sandwich is at South City Kitchen (with locations in Midown and Vinings). Their sauce is the perfect blend of heat and sweat, served with slaw that's got just the right amount of vinegar (remember us Carolina girls don't do mayo in our slaw!) plus crisp potato chips.
Are y'all hungry yet>
