Words I live by: Be Brave. Lose the Beige!

I can't live without: Art, engaging in creative pursuits. I can't live without communicating with my kids- both of whom live away.

I am most proud of: creating a program called The Jeremiah Project which is an after-school and summer pottery and digital arts program targeted to reach at-risk middle school aged students.

I am most guilty of: indulging my kids and dogs. watching television dramas like Madmen and Friday Night Lights.

The world would be a better place, if only: Our political leaders would learn the art of cooperation rather than conflict.

Interests: pottery, clay, writing, serving as art director of the Jeremiah Project which is an after school and summer pottery program for at-risk middle school age students.

Profession: Claywriter and market researcher

Slogan: Be Brave. Lose the Beige!

About Me: Like many Lady Boomers, I wear a lot of hats. But the hat I enjoy wearing the most is that of writer and clay artist. My husband has dubbed me a "claywriter" because I like to sculpt with words and write in clay. My blog is called, "Be Brave. Lose the Beige" and encourages Lady Boomers (and any others who will listen) to introduce more creativity, fun, and joy into their busy lives. Be Brave. Lose the Beige says yes, when the world around us often says no.
