About Me: I am a caretaker personality who has a way with words. I love to read, write, and work with children. I am involved with my church here in Atlanta and participate in a women's Bible study, which has been very meaningful to me. I took a travel writing class in France with Brown University in July 2009, where I developed a knack for the personal essay. At the Red Clay Writing Conference in November 2009, I went to a presentation about Skirt.com! and memoir, which got me involved with this site. I have loved writing for the Skirt.com online community and the opportunity it has given me to meet new people with my interests.
