More about Me: I love to read, to write, to walk my dog and hike with my family. I love living in New England and feel more at home here than I ever did in New York (except in the Adirondacks - they are always home). My husband is a musician and a software engineer, and I always loved the song "Tiny Dancer" because of the lyric "marry a music man." And I did. My son has inherited his musical ability, for which I am grateful. He has also inherited my love of writing and reading, for which I am also grateful. I have been a newspaper reporter and a labor union writer and am in the process of getting my teaching license. I have been and still am, a home maker. I want to be home for my kid until he's past the dangerous age of making huge mistakes (like through middle school and early high school). Living close to Boston is the best place to live I can think of for now.
Favorite Music: Roots, classical, folk, Pete Seeger, all the music I dug in the old days. Plus lots (not all) of the music my teen-ager plays for me.
Favorite Books and Writers: Too many to count. Today, the Annotated Sherlock Holmes. Tomorrow, who knows?
I am most proud of: continuing to learn and grow.
I am most guilty of: envy.
The world would be a better place, if only: people would leave people be and be kind.
