It’s a Major Award!
I just learned I’ve been named “Best Blogger, 2010” by the readers of skirt.com.
I am humbled at the trust you have put in me, and as best blogger I promise to cut wasteful words, present fair and balanced blogs, and budget my posts about online dating.
As I stand on this podium, with this medal around my neck and the national anthem of my country playing over the loudspeakers, I can’t help but be deeply touched. And let me take this moment to assure you that every blog I posted was executed through my own natural abilities and I am 100% steroid free (no matter what that last drug test indicated).
I couldn’t accept this award without giving a shout out to skirtySteph who gave me my break in the business, and to best blogger runner-up Tonilyn who I am humbled to be considered in the same category as.
Tonilyn, I hope you understand that if I cannot fulfill my duties the crown will pass to you and you'll have to ride on the parade floats. (Note to self: burn negatives of poorly lit nudie pics from college.)
I also want to acknowledge every blogger here at skirt.com for all their support throughout the year. I encourage everyone reading this post to check out the other fabulous writers on the site.
I see that I’m getting the signal to wrap this up, so in closing let me say THANK YOU to the people who voted for me and I also want to thank everyone who took a moment to read even a single word I wrote.

Great speech. New to this site, but that is the first thing that caught my attention...and I love the leg lamp. One of my Bunco Babe girlfriends dressed up as the leg lamp recently at one of our get togethers! Hilarious!
