This isn’t a post about how optimistic and la-di-da I am.  It’s a post about how I spend most days squinting and as disoriented as a drunk.

Here’s my issue… I’m nearsighted and I can’t seem to find one solution that will let me see in every situation.

My last blog post was entitled “bye bye bathing suit” and here is a quote from it: “I have now totally abandoned the swimsuit search …”

Two days after making that statement I purchased a new bikini.

But, you see, I really had abandoned looking for a swimsuit.  Finding one that flattered me (as much as a couple of postage stamps held together with string can flatter) was pure chance.
