Goodwill Fashion Show

It's Thursday night in the boro and I used my press pass to check out the Goodwill Fashion Show at the Empire Room downtown. This is the first year Goodwill has done a fashion show in the Triad and models of all ages and sizes rocked looks straight off the racks. The show included business wear, formal wear, casual wear, and vintage glamour. I was super excited to snag a front row seat because I've never sat front row at a fashion show before and it made me feel very VIP-ish. lol. I was able to snap some great photos. I am such a fan of making old clothing unique and new again, and I love what the stylists put together.

Miss North Carolina International made an appearance.

Goodwill is a great place to score vintage tees. This pale pink peacock tee was super adorable and fit the models hippie style perfectly. A great vintage tee could also be paired with a fitted blazer for a collegiate look.

I thought this was such a great summer mens look. Plaid shorts adds even more prep to a polo shirt and graphic loafers.

This was my favorite look of the show. This dress is the perfect example of finding a one-of-a-kind item and making it your own. This 70s stretch dress shows a more flirty side of boho. The tall brown boots make this dress perfect for late winter/early spring, and when summer hits this would look amazing with brown espadrilles.

And what's a fashion show without the cocktail hour.

Good Times.
