“I am going to hug you. I am going to kiss you.”

“Not now, please.”

“Okay. Not now, but know I will always be here by your side ready to love you.”

He’s a gentleman who opens doors for everyone, even if they don’t want their doors to be open.

Some people manage to miss their doors, leaving him standing in the doorway holding a door open for no one. It must be awkward to hold a door for people who choose to walk in through another door. But he promised he would be able to open their doors again one day.

Some people force their doors open before he planned. He has to make crazy travels, drifting through vast land to get to a place where he wasn’t expecting the door to arrive so early. It happens all the time.

When he opens my door, I will walk through. I know he will shut the door and lock it, forever keeping me from leaving. People say it’s better to be there than here. But is it?
