Not much going on

It's been almost a week since my last blog. There really isn't much going on in my life at this moment. I am on spring break, which means staying in my house in Houston with my family. I have a minor surgery in my mouth this Wednesday. I have a mucocele about the size of a walnut. Exciting.. not.

The neighbors are building a house, and it's somewhat annoying. Not the sound of the workers or anything, but the house is soo big. What is up with everyone wanting to have monster houses on their lots, leaving them with a very tiny slither of grass. And then, these people build houses, but put in cheap windows. You know what I mean? The cheap windows with the plastic stuff. I say, if you're going to be building a house, you might as well just get REAL windows, real doors, real floors.

My parents are remodeling our house. We live in a two bedroom, one and half bathroom house (small). They are remodeling the bathrooms, making the house a two full bathroom house. The hall bathroom doesn't have a door on it, but there is a sheet hanging up. It makes it awkward. You can't see through the sheet, thank goodness. 

The bathroom also doesn't have a floor yet. It use to have that old 70's yellow tile, but that is long gone now. The walls have been covered with white subway tile, and my mom wants to paint it a color called "peace & happiness." I think it's a soft blue color.

Anyway, that's about all that is going on in my life at this moment. It's not what I would call my usual spring break. I haven't even gone out at night once yet. But, it's because I'm tired from school!

My friends that stayed in Houston don't understand this concept because they STAYED in Houston. When I come home to Houston, it's like a mini-vacation from school. A time where I want to relax constantly because once I go back to Austin, I'll have to do never-ending school work. 

Anyway, I'm going to go eat some ice cream before dinner :)
