Bad boyfriends

In the past, I have written about girls who stay in bad relationships. Today, after watching 16 & Pregnant last night, I have found a new thing to bitch about. This girl's so-called boyfriend acts like he is the most important person in the world.

First off, they are high school students (well, he was expelled) so she was looking forward to going to Homecoming with her friends; he wasn't allowed in because he was expelled from the school). She went shopping with her mom for a dress and the boyfriend went along, too. The whole time he was just like 'get this one.' He even said he doesn't feel like shopping, so he is going to leave. This poor girl is pregnant with a huge stomach; she is use to being a size zero, and now she can't even fit into a size 10- the last thing she wants to hear is her boyfriend complain about everything. He doesn't even consider her feelings about how her body is changing.

When homecoming arrives, he manages to talk the girl into meeting him outside at 9 pm. This way, she'd have about an hour at the dance and then he could hang out with her. Well, of course the girl left the dance at 9 and waited in the parking lot for him. As she called him, he ignored the calls. Finally, he picked up and said he couldn't hang out because he was at his friends house and didn't want to leave. What a jerk!

While she was in labor, he got offensive when she "slapped" his hand away. I'm sorry, but being in labor is not a fantastic experience for most girls; he's lucky that he didn't get slapped in the face. This "slap"made him mad, so he decided that she could handle the labor on her own.

 This poor girl had to be induced. I think she was in labor for 27 hours. And her boyfriend has the guts to walk out of the room on her? Hello, he's the baby daddy! 

The boyfriend came back into the room eventually, and got into an argument with the girl's mom. The boy said that he trumps the mother, which made the mother irritated because well, she is the mother of the girl in labor. The boy told the girl in labor to say that he trumps her mom. Then the boy goes on and argues with the girl's mom. 

Overall, this boy is an inconsiderate jerk. He has no care in the world about this girl's feelings or how her life has drastically changed. He doesn't care about being respectful to her or her family... or even his own family. But the girl doesn't want to leave him. Eventually, though sad, the boy breaks up with the girl because he was secretly seeing his exgirlfriend; he said he is just not ready to be only committed to one girl. 

Why are so many guys rude and disrespectful? What is it all about?
