Go go go, Intern Sara!

I haven't seen much of Intern Sara this summer since she graduated from SCAD, but last I heard she was thinking of running away to Paris to go to culinary school or interning with National Geographic (our girl is a resourceful one, I tell you.)

Then last night she posted this on my Facebook page:

I know I promised not to hover/cling in my cover letter, but I may have taken a wrong turn. I have an interview at VOGUE tomorrow; I'm in New York right now. Before I left I made a mad dash to Custard to find something to wear and the only thing that I liked/fit properly was the dress YOU wore to the 5th anniversary party. So tomorrow I go to VOGUE inYOUR black and white dress. I kid you not. You've got a clone. Amazing turnout at the skirt! in the City party Thursday btw.

She means this dress:

I felt as gorgeous as I'm ever gonna get that night, and I don't begrudge Sara for choosing the dress for such an important day. And if her wearing it is the closest I'm ever gonna get to the Vogue offices, so be it.

Best of luck at your interview today, Sara - and we sure missed having your help at the skirt! in the City party. But listen, if you're planning on wearing our dress to the next one, give me a holler so we don't embarrass each other.
