Living Vicariously
By jennymaxwell, Tuesday, October 19, 2010She used to audition for plays in Columbia and teach at Blythewood High. Now she's landing roles in New York and walking her dog on Michael Douglas's block. Monica Wyche has gone and done what a lot of people like to talk about, and I feel lucky that she's blogging about it. I just finished reading her most recent posts on New to New York.
You may have seen Monica in a play at Trustus or Workshop. You might recall her profile in skirt!.

Even if you don't, you might enjoy finding out what happens next. A couple of weeks ago, she wrote:
When Dean and I decided to move to NYC, I vowed to needlepoint us a pillow that said, "We Did Not Move to NYC to Work in a Crappy Office." The pillow would remind us why we are here, especially on days when working other things (besides acting and writing) was getting the better of us.
One of the things she's doing professionally is performing in The Dog(run) Diaries this weekend at The Hudson Guild Theatre on W. 26th Street.
