More about Me: I am Ilana Yael Valinsky, and I hail from Pittsburgh, PA, but moved to Charlotte after spending four years in NC for college. I consider myself a quasi-Southerner. As far as the what the future holds, I'm studying for the GRE and hope to attend grad school for Public Policy. Right now, I'm just a normal 24-year-old girl with high hopes and expectations, bad hair days, and funny dating stories. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you all.
Favorite Music: Everything from The Beatles to Timbaland, John Mayer to Sugarland. As long as I have my tunes, I am set.
Favorite Books and Writers: Anything by David Sedaris; poetry by Alan Shapiro; all of Mireille Guiliano's works
I can't live without: the gym or hot yoga.
I am most proud of: Graduating from Davidson College with a B.A. in English. Upon graduation, I set up shop in Charlotte (I'm originally from Pittsburgh), and I now live in Eastover.
I am most guilty of: Phew...texting until my thumbs are numb, listening to my music too loudly as I drive around town, indulging in chocolate, and being overly sarcastic.
