More about Me: I am VERY PROUD to be the owner, creator of LAFOLOT! I never thought I was a business person, marketer, advertiser and am now finding that I am CREATIVELY capable of anything I put my thoughts toward!

Words I live by: Live Life! Laugh Often! Live life in A-MAZE-ment! Live BOLD and in Italics! My Healing Mantra from Feb 2008: I CHOOSE TO FEEL, WHAT I NEED TO HEAL; I CHOOSE TO FACE, WHAT I NEED TO REPLACE!

The world would be a better place, if only: Every one could BE and feel free to BE who their soul and heart is singing for them to BE - without judgement. I wrote a book called: "Life is a Song in the Key of Love" or Growing Up with the Embarrassment of Prejudice. I invite people to MAKE LIFE A SONG - Appreciate LIFE in ALL its forms of expression! BE in AWE of it ALL!

Interests: Motivate and Inspire others! Got rid of my TV in February 2009 - I'm taking it back to the 40s! ;o) I like to sit out on my adirondak chair and look up at the sky, watch the hawks & turkey vulchers cirlce overhead. SMILE as neighbors drive by. I like to dine out and I TALK TO EVERYBODY known or unknown. I meet some very interesting people this way! I sing the HA HA Happy Birthday song to total strangers at frequented restaurants. LIVE LIFE! LAUGH OFTEN! Live Live Live! It's what I'm doing - and I'm CONTINUING to LEARN and GROW on a daily basis!

About Me: Coming from a good-hearted family filled with challenges, being blessed with a Highschool Honor Society and Community College Phi Theta Kappa Right and Left Brain thinking mind; Helen believes 'A Little Kindness goes a long way...' Helen has learned that it's HOW you CHOOSE to PERCEIVE life; shifting one's personal perception that defines our life. She now sees that Life is a Gift and chooses to share Humorist, non-invasive, non-offensive ways to UPLIFT and ENLIGHTEN others with MIRTH, MERRIMENT and a slightly SKEWED view to MAKE OTHERS DAYS! Helen was Certified by the World Laughter Tour, Co., was Public Relations Officer and Charter Member of Phi Theta Kappa, H.A.C.C. and is a Gold Member of the Association of Applied and Therapeutic Humor (A.A.T.H.). She is proud of her book: 'Life is a Song in the Key of Love' re: appreciating life in ALL its forms of expression; her key talk: 'Seeing With New Eyes!' - shifting ones views and perceptions; and her music CD: A Night at the Piano Bar with Helen of LAFOLOT. She has developed 'Ha Ha Helen's SMILE Campaign' and 'Drive Yourself Happy' to assist others with interacting and driving through life Healthier and Happier! As well as her ‘TIME TO LAUGH’ system of digital clock ‘triggers’ to help remind us to stay present, focused and take time to release stress through smiles and laughter! Her latest endeavor is designing/creating LAFOLOT T-Shirts with Inspiring/Motivating/Fun messages!
