John Sullivan is making your bed.
By margaret, Tuesday, August 31, 2010, 2 commentsAs the CEO of the soon-to-be opened Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital, John is happy to trade his hard hat for a skirt, for a change. Construction of the state-of-the-art 85-bed facility has been consuming, to say the least, but when doors open on November 1, the payoff for his long hours and attention to detail will be evident. “Opening a brand new hospital and bringing it to life from the ground up is not something many people have the opportunity, or privilege, to do,” says this Kentucky native with over two decades of hospital administration experience. It’s work he finds uniquely rewarding: “Hospitals touch people in a way that not many organizations do,” he explains. “I walk the halls and encounter people dealing with all ranges of emotions, from the joys of birth to more difficult times. As we care for them our goal is to make it easier for them and their families.”
The best thing about wearing a skirt? “It makes hospital rounds a breeze.”
His favorite thing about reading skirt!? “Women make the majority of healthcare decisions. It helps me stay tuned to what’s on their minds.”

Mr. Jane, try it & you will definitely like it. Mr. John Sullivan looks professional as well as comfortable. Too bad more guys don't have a practical side. I live in skirts with no regrets that women have make trousers a female garment.
