John Cave Osborne proves multi-tasking is no child’s play
By Skirt.com, Wednesday, March 17, 2010John went from carefree bachelor to father of four in 13 months after marrying a single mom and then quickly learning that not one, not two, but three babies were on the way. His book, Tales from the Trips, chronicles the emotional, hilarious and life-altering transition. To promote it, he began blogging, drawing up to 600 page views per day and raising the brow of Hollywood A-listers. “I posted a youtube video (“Where’s Mommy?”) which made rounds on Twitter,” says the co-owner of Stone Creek Surfaces, a countertop company. “Both Ashton Kutcher and Alyssa Milano started tweeting it to followers.” John’s primary intent was to “create the ultimate coming-of-age gift for his kids, not write a bestseller,” but given his propensity to capture attention, it shouldn’t surprise anyone if he ends up on Oprah’s couch one day, especially since thirty percent of the book’s proceeds go to Childhelp USA, a leading nonprofit for child abuse and neglect. “I want to show my kids that the best gifts are ones that give back.”

What’s the best thing about wearing a skirt? “It gives me a chance to showcase my spectacular legs.”
