More about Me: I am very much so a dog person. Strays find me and my heart is much larger than my home or my wallet. I love to scrapbook and take photographs of interesting things around town. I am a teacher and adore my work with children. They steal your heart each year and don't really give it back!
I also LOVE to write! I have written and illustrated two children's books about (you guessed it) my rescued golden retrievers!
Favorite Music: My favorite music is country music and good praise and worship! I just love to ride in my car with the windows down and sing along with the radio. Of course, my husband says I really shouldn't sing with the windows down!
Favorite Books and Writers: My favorite books are written by Dee Henderson and Karen Kingsbury! I could (and have) read everything Dee Henderson has written over and over again. I am still trying to read all of Karen Kingsbury's novels! They are amazing though.
I can't live without: My family. I don't have the most conventional family right now. I have a husband and four crazy golden retrievers! I love them to pieces and would be lost without them!
I am most proud of: My children's books. Having them published was such an amazing moment for me. When Luna was published I did the happy dance. When What Makes Luna Tick? was published, I practically did back flips! Can't wait to see where my next book will take me!
I am most guilty of: Attempting to please everyone and taking on too much!

The world would be a better place, if only: More people would be truly honest with themselves. If you look inside and you don't like what you see, change it. Confront it. Deal with it. Avoidance fixes nothing.
