Skirt! Team challenge! Mind: Seeing the Road

This week as some of you may have notices started out a little rough, but I must say it had gotten better by Saturday(kicking up my heels). I have always been the person trying to make the outcome I want happen, instead of allowing it to take it's course. That is another reason why I probably don't sleep as well as I should.
By the way, I missed a major holiday this month as well, January 3rd was festival of sleep day. How in the world did I miss that. Next year I will be on it, sleep all day and nothing else...lol
After the first half of a crazy week, I decided to relax and just live life. It is a hard thing to do when you have so much going on. I spent more time this week on the treadmill and in the shower, amazingly I have felt better. Still trying to figure out a good time to attack some of the demons in my path
.
This morning when I woke up I felt a renewed sense of self and I owe a lot of that to this challenge and all the support from my fellow skirts. I am looking in the mirror and realizing I can't do all of this at one time and will need to handle one thing at a time. I have compiled a list of things that I would like to accomplish this week on a personal level and I am going to share them with you skirts so I can be held accountable for the outcomes.
1. Wake up with a smile on my face, not worry
2. Stay positive, can't finish everything in one day
3. Remembering that I am WORTH IT!!!
4. Let go of the guilt
5. Smile more.
I know to some people these things may seem trivial but for me they are very important to keeping my sanity. I will keep you skirts posted on how this week is going, and thank you all for all of your kind words. Smooches and hugs

Keep up the great work!
I'm so glad to hear that you've been on the treadmill more and have been taking more relaxing, hot showers:-) I also love the pictures you posted! Very cute:-) I thought about you this week while I was reading a book by Tom Morris called, If Harry Potter Ran General Electric. He shares a wisdom insight, which is, "Things often get worse before they get better," p. 220. He says: Whatever the purpose and whatever the result of this common phenomenon of things getting worse before they get better, it helps us to make it through such a situation just to remember that this is often how the world works, and that we should hang in there and not give up hope as the darkness descends. The sun will rise again p. 222
Reading this gave me so much hope. I hope that it gives you positive feelings as well:-)
Have a GREAT week this week!!
xoxo Kimberly
Thank you Kimberly, I love
Thank you Kimberly, I love that quote. It reminds me of something someone once told me...
The clouds are here now but the sun wiill shine again.
I will add his quote to my thoughts to keep me going, I have come to far to give up now. No matter how much a complain to you guys about how it all sucks. I have come a pretty good ways and am getting out my hooks to climb the rest of the way to the mountain. Thanks again Kimberly, you have a great week also..loved your blog this week btw.

Hey FoxC- I love both quotes
Hey FoxC- I love both quotes as well, girls.Things do often get worse before they are better, and I think it's important to realize it's nothing personal.Cause I KNOW it feels that way... especially if we feel guilty or a little inferior to begin with! Also remember these are the times we grow- now I KNOW that is true... because as much as I LOVE my happy little times, I know my life changes for the better as a result of the hard times. :)
PS Maybe you don't need to attack your demons, my friend. Maybe it's enough just knowing they're there and living in your back pocket...
PPSS You have a BEAUTIFUL smile and if I had that, I would try to smile ALL day long! xxooxxoo
