You would think at 88 years old, style icon Iris Apfel would be out of touch with today's modern fashionistas. Not true, for this so-called "geriatric glamazon" whose collection "Rare Bird of Fashion: The Irreverent Iris Apfel" will hold it's final showing Feb. 7 at Peabody Essex Museum. The eclectic blend of dazzling decade- old haute couture pieces and bright, oversized costume jewelry is sure to wow even the youngest of fashion jet-setters. The unique display of creative wardrobes is not one to be missed.
