Do you remember the first day of school, the excitement the fear all wand together inside of you. Do you remember how you just went, and you got through it for the better of the worse. You never considered you had another option, or at least I didn't. I had fear, maybe I didnt' even want to go, or may I was excited, either way, I just did it. Most of us just go to school because it is expected, and we do work because its expected, at some point in our late 20's early 30s we are supposed to get married and have children, we are supposed to buy a house, own a car, and work our way up some corporate ladder. There seems to be a sort of formula that life is supposed to follow, but I have never been very good with this formulaic aspect of life.
I am a high school drop out who is months a way from completing my masters degree, I am just a year over passing through my mid 20's and I am only a little under 2 years away from being married for a decade. I have had almost enough surgeries to have one for each year I have lived. Yet I still don't have a "career," a house or children. I am a bit mixed up when it comes to following the expected formula and I suspect that their might be others out there who also lost their map for life. So I am hoping you will join me as I bumble through life and its expectations. I will share here for all you Skirt readers little snippets of what I see, think, feel, dream from my rather creative, funky point of view and I hope you will do the same with a comment here or there.
