More about Me: Cristina Querrer was born and raised in the Philippines, post Vietnam War, during the Marcos regime, pre-Mount Pinatubo eruption, as a US Air Force brat. Her works have appeared in The Adirondack Review, The Fairfiled Review, Stirring, and in print anthologies such as Pinoy Poetics, Babaylan, Bombshells, The Mom Egg, and Field of Mirrors, to name a few. Look for her upcoming poetry chapbook, "The Art of Exporting," with her daughter, Tiana Madison's black-and-white photography, to be published by Dancing Girl Press (http://www.dancinggirlpress.com) on January 2011. She currently lives in Palm Harbor, FL.

Favorite Books and Writers: Too much to mention but my top favorite literary authors are: Virginia Woolf, Anais Nin, Joyce Carol Oates, Toni Morrison, Alice Munro and my favorite poets are: Sylvia Plath, Elizabeth Bishop, Louise Gluck, Marianne Moore, Anne Sexton, Sharon Olds and Cristina Querrer (lol).

About Me: I am a multi-disciplinary artist. Writer/poet, visual artist and singer/song-writer. I was born and raised in the Philippines as a military child but spent most of my adult years in Southeastern Connectict (Norwich/New London/N. Franklin area). I have three siblings and three children. I am also a US Army Veteran and I have an MFA in Creative Writing. I am currenty working on my literary novel and collection of poetry, singing lullabies, writing and sharing my ideas on my blog and painting all between. :-)
