Rocking the A-Cups!
By cowgirrrlpunk, Wednesday, February 17, 2010As a former All-American athlete myself, I love, love, LOVE watching both Winter and Summer Olympics. There is nothing like seeing real athletes who aren't owned by sneaker contracts, on steroids, acting like brats, being poor role models for our youth, and complaining about their millions.
I've been enjoying the skating, skiing, snowboarding, and luge. I am so inspired by the high-caliber female athletes out there. They work hard; they're tough; they're competitive; they're talented. Another WONDERFUL way the 2010 female Winter Olympians have put a smile on my face is by reminding me what healthy women look like. They are not air brushed; they are not starving themselves. They eat well and work out (obviously).
I've always said the "A" in A-cup stands for "athletic"--at least that's how I felt about myself. I like to refer to my breasts as aerodynamic...because they are. I thank God regularly for giving me an appropriate frame to run and jump with ease. It seems that 365 days a year the C-cups get the glory...but not for those 2 precious weeks every 2 years during the Olympics. The female athletes hide nothing in their spandex swimsuits, leotards, and speed suits. They bravely rock the A-cups! Loud and proud!
If you haven't heard, Olympic hurdler Jana Rawlinson even had her very modest implants removed to give her the cutting edge back. She told Women's Day, "Yep, I'm back to being flat as a pancake." Click here for a before and after picture.
Not only are "a"thletic and "a"erodynamic breasts more comfortable and functional, but they allow greater sexual pleasure and sensitivity. I'm not making it up! Here's why: All nipples have the same amount of sensory nerves. Common sense and physics tells us that if those nerves are more condensed over a smaller surface area, they will be more sensitive. If the same amount of sensory nerves are stretched out and thus further apart, they will be less sensitive. Plus, the same amount of stimulation and pressure on small breasts would go further. That same amount of pressure and stimulation on a C- or D-cup wouldn't accomplish as much. So not only are smaller breasts more pleasure, but your partner doesn't have to work as hard to stimulate them! It's a win-win!
Let the C-cups have their back pain, stretch marks, and athletic challenges (OK...and their male attention and nicely-fitting clothes), but I'm rocking the A-cups with no regrets! Looks aren't everything. Be confident, ladies--that's the #1 ingredient in driving the guys crazy anyway. Like India Arie sings, "I don't need your silicon. I prefer my own. What God gave me is just fine." (Video, India Arie)
