Freedom Challenge Winner
By skirtySteph, Monday, July 19, 2010"To be truly free"...
That was the goal of our foremothers after all. But the word "freedom" has morphed and c
hanged in so many ways in the last 234 years and means something different to each one of us.
We asked, "What does freedom mean to you? Tell us a story." Freedom meant a slew of different things to the women who wrote in. We didn't want Chicken for the Soul-esque stories—We wanted edgy, thought-provoking pieces and you delivered.
And the winner is... Dissecting Demons by Janeen Musselman.
She will receive a suite of skirt! books including Smotherhood, The Cult of Perfection and The Gospel According to Coco Chanel.
The runners up were...

Freedom by Inches by Laura Owens
