Happy spring!
By Christina Rosalie, Friday, March 19, 2010Hello friends,
It's been so long here, and I was barely here to begin with, that it seems oddly delightful and a bit unfamiliar be back--like wearing the pair of gorgeous navy blue stilettoes that I own and have only worn once.
This time I hope I'll be sticking around and making a fairly regular habit of sharing things with you...
This week, in northern New England, the weather has been mild and balmy and you can smell spring, although you can't see it yet (the grass is still brown, and though the buds are fat, there are no leaves or petals anywhere yet--except the forcythia that I cut and forced to bloom in a jar on a sunny window sill) It's sugaring weather and mud season. Time to pull on some pretty rain boots, listen to some good tunes, do some puddle jumping with my two little boys (the older is 5, the younger just turned 1, and just discovered walking...and then running lickety split!)
Things I am into this week:
Planning the annual garden and buying seeds.
A Field Guide To Now (my work-in-progress~ please go check it out!)
Crisp Apple Method shampoo to scrub little boys who've played all day in puddles!
The macro setting on my camera.
Iced lattes.
Doing less and lolling about in the sunshine more.
I'd love to hear about you. What are you enjoying this week? Please share!
