More about Me: I am a new wife to my best friend of seven years and the future mommy to this precious life inside of me. I left my Yankee roots behind to find love in the South. I first struggled to find my own in a land that was so unfamiliar. With the support and love of some wonderful people, I now call North Carolina, Home Sweet Home. I'm a Daddy's girl and my Mother's best friend. I work full-time but do most of my writing and thinking during the 'night shift.' I take pride in being a working housewife and the preferred vendor for all cooking, cleaning, decorating, crafting and entertaining in our home. I have passions that extend far beyond my cubicle. I have been blessed with five brothers who taught me every meaning of the 'F word' and how to master a full nelson. I have three incredibly strong sisters whom I admire daily. I'm not terribly interested in celebrity gossip although I've been told my pop culture knowledge is pathetic and I should start paying attention. I'm sarcastic and borderline inappropriate. I find pure joy in life's little moments. I wear my heart on my sleeve with all degrees of emotion. I'm a chatterbox and sometimes stutter. I have a postage stamp yard and a city view. I'm an old soul. Thunderstorms relax me. Waking up to sunshine brightens my morning. More so, waking up next to my Husband brightens my day. I live a rather simple life that is rich in happiness and love. I live a life that has prepared me to spread my wings and WRITE! Enjoy.
