McDonalds is flooding the TV with their enticing but misleading breakfast commercials again. And, why not, January is the month where many are looking for great bargains and quick, nutritional, meals.  STOP! “McDonalds is the epitome of what’s wrong with the way we eat today”, says Mark Bitman of the NY Times, Feb 22, 2011 article. 

Learning the truth just shakes your delusions, walking forever in faith, never drawing conclusions; the where abouts of my future, now crumbling before my eyes. It was implanted, life after death, there is no such thing as death; well what is death anyway, they say; merely an alternative existence. One in which you are just as invisible as the one you carried on in- in life. But what is life? Life is what you make it they say. Life is what they’ve made it when you’re gone.

Let me start out by saying that I am the Chef at a small country cafe in a small West Virginia town. I have a great boss and a great staff. I work with a limited supply of product but turn out some damn good food, I have Yelp! to prove it.

I recently traveled cross-country to visit my boyfriend in Seattle for five days. I could hardly contain my excitement for being in his arms, and roaming about the city hand in hand. Especially since it was my first time in Seattle, and my first overnight stay with my man.
