I'm not sure why I let the dog in
By Lucky Mama, Tuesday, February 1, 2011, 2 commentsI’m not sure why I let the dog sleep inside last night.
At the time, I was afraid Loopy would freeze to death – but now I’m going to kill her myself.
I emptied all the trash cans and the litter box before she came in. I know some things are just too tempting. I closed all the bedroom and bathroom doors, removing more temptations. I checked the pantry door to make sure it was closed securely.

By eighteen25, Friday, January 28, 2011My butt is like what?
By Lucky Mama, Wednesday, January 26, 2011, 2 commentsMy 5-year-old, A.J., said to me:
“Mom, your butt is like a big knocking ball on a crane.”
And as if that’s not bad enough, he added:
“Boom! Boom! Boom! Knocking into buildings!”
And he had no idea why that bothered me. Trust me, he knows now!

I'm BACK!
By MerryGlenne, Thursday, January 22, 2009, 3 commentsActually, I’ve been back for a week now. And I apologize for not writing sooner. Getting back to my blog with so much time passed has been somewhat daunting. It’s like calling an old friend who you haven’t spoken with in months. You want to call. But there’s so much to catch up on. You know you’ve got to block off several hours of time that you just don’t have. And where do you even begin?
Okay, now that I’ve taken the first step, where were we? Ah yes, me pregnant, on bed rest and miserable. I remember now.
Well, a lot’s changed since then and I’m excited to tell you all about it. The beginning seems like the only logical place to start, so I’ll begin with the second week of November (when Isabella was born) and catch you up to speed since then. I can’t promise to remember everything… I lost a lot of sleep in those first few weeks.
I’ll spare you all the gory details (unless you want them, if you do, send me an email or give me a call and I’ll be happy to tell you all about it!), but I gave birth naturally…well, not naturally, but with an epidural and without a c-section, at 6pm on Monday, November 10th, 2008.
Star-Spangled Bummer.
By ChelseaTheo, Wednesday, February 8, 2012Lately, I’ve been getting into this routine of bypassing the snooze button to throw on a pair of sneaks (that's Yankee speak for "tennis shoes") so I can spend my mornings on our treadmill watching Good Morning America. It’s my attempt to be productive, yet still be lazy enough to ignore the gym. While yes, I’m bit more informed about the weather and major headlines, I’m beginning to question how healthy this show is for my mental health.
Husbands and Knives: An Unfun Secret
By kmadams321, Wednesday, February 8, 2012I haven’t posted in a week due to crafting in my head something I really want to talk about but not being sure how to go about it. It pertains to my younger daughter and her eating habits. And in starting my blog post over, and over, and over, and not being satisfied with it, I’ve come to realize that I feel a lot of shame about having a child who consumes an incredibly limited range of foods.
