Blame It On the Rain
By KnowledgeMaven, Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 2 commentsOkay so I’m still on the political thing. In fact, I may be riding this out until the United States presidential elections are over . . . so get ready. I’ve been holding my peace for quite some time now, and I just can’t hold it anymore. By LeahSenona, Wednesday, February 8, 2012
I take a lot of things for granted. I try to be cognizant of the fact that I am very fortunate to be living my particular life but there are certain advantages I possess that I never count when tallying up my blessings. Komen split from planned parenthood because I know planned parenthood is a touchy subject for people. I can't understand WHY it's a touchy subject because I am a firm believe in pro-choice and although I could not ever make that decision to abort my child, I know it is beyond me to prevent another woman from making her own choice. HOWEVER, within days or maybe even hours they reversed the split! So now I need to speak...Was this just some kind of publicity stunt to help raise awareness about Komen and planned parenthood?
Grrrrrrrr is me!
By Donna Carbone, Wednesday, February 1, 2012If you read the Wikipedia page dedicated to bull dogs, you will understand why I consider myself a kindred spirit. Bulldogs are normally docile and happy to please. Although low to the ground, they can move quickly when the need arises. Occasionally, they can be willful and stubborn.
