What I Didn’t Expect to See or Hear in 2010. A Review
By My Views from t..., Monday, January 3, 2011, 7 commentsI don’t do resolutions on New Year’s Eve. I have been busy making them all year long and then breaking them within 15 minutes of declaring my intentions. By DrunkLittleAsian, Tuesday, September 21, 2010, 2 commentsI'm a relatively straightforward chick. You ask me what I think, so I open my loud mouth to tell you. If you buy me enough drinks, I'm more than happy to tell you more than you even what to know.
So in the Land of the Free, the Home of the Sober, I'm thinking we all need to drink just a little bit more because for some reason, our leaders want to live in some 1990s sitcom where canned laughter and bad jokes at the expense of relatively everyday people reign. What, pray tell, is Drunk Little Asian drinking, you must be asking yourselves to be rambling on so?
Getting My Vote On: Why I Play In Politics
By MaeMucho, Wednesday, August 25, 2010, 1 commentsMaybe it's just in the stars for me; I was born on August 26th, and so perhaps my affinity for women's issues and activism was preordained. Or maybe it's the influence of my mother, who was a part of history in Greensboro, NC as a young woman (but not, as her clueless 8th grade students later described, by "marching in the Civil War"), and who remains involved in politics to this day.
