Let's Hear It For the Boys

Joel Osteen

James Patterson

Wayne Dwyer

Anderson Cooper

Randy Pausch (althoug he passed on, his memory and message lives on)

Scott Blum

Deepak Chopra

Where am I going with this one? They are all very inspiring and talented men in the media..and there are so many more. (Just look at our President)

Who inspires you? Who do you enjoy reading?

It’s easy for me to rattle off who my favorite authors are or who I follow regularly in a magazine or online...they are women....this got me thinking. What about the men?

I think it’s only natural for me to gravitate towards women, being one myself. Not to mention, my role models, my heros have all been women.

So let’s hear it for everyONE!

Let's Hear It For the Boys

I confess that I have more

I confess that I have more sheros than heros when it comes to writing. Although, I love Pat Conroy books, most especially The Prince of Tides, and Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove. And, I am a closet Dwight Yoakam fan. Enough said, I might have to reconsider my hero/shero ratio.
