Dreams

Sunday night

It was quiet. The tv sleep timer had shut off and the neighbors upstairs stopped playing with their dog. 12:34. Next to my bed, he stood there. He wore a dark suit. Tall, very, very tall with sunken blue eyes. I looked up at him and immediately threw the heavy covers over my head. He was gone. The vision of this man startled me, but he didn’t scare me. He was just watching.

I woke up with my heart pounding and of course had thrown the covers off in the process. Who was that man? It was just a dream. Breathe...

Last night

Woke up to tell Randy that I thought I saw someone in our living room. “Can you cuddle me a little? Feel my heart?!” Fell back to sleep.

A Few Years Ago

Randy was living in a small apartment and the lease was coming to and end. The sun was about to rise and light crept through the towels hanging on the windows. Yes, towels. Not shades. A young boy walked into the bedroom. He was impatient. “Don’t worry. We are leaving soon. I promise,” I told him and he left.

Recently

It was as though I was looking out a window just after a snowstorm. The trees were covered and everything was beautiful and untouched. The snow had stopped and there was a log cabin.

Another night

I yelled at my dad. “I just want to know if you can help it or not?” I’ve had many dreams of yelling at my dad. Many.

Sugar or too much wine gives me terrible dreams. What’s with the people showing up? The strange flash of a snowstorm? Who is that man? What was he trying to tell me? I welcome an understanding.

Dreams fascinate me and some say can help guide us when we are awake.

Have you ever had a dream that stayed with you for longer than you wanted it to? Have you ever figured out what it means?

Will see what happens tonight. I had cake and a few brownies at work. Oops.

Maybe if that man shows up, I will offer to bake for him.

Hi Cutie!

~I must ponder this very tall man in a suit. Interesting. Do you think he represents your dad? I wonder if VERY TALL means that your dad somebody you truly look up to....(sunken blue eyes)...Tired? Old? Let us know when you figure it out. Dreams usually always mean something. I'm very interested in what you learn. XX

Dreams

hi cutie back!

not my dad. the man looked like he was from a different time...like the 30's or 40's maybe. at one point, i thought it was me looking down, but the image of this man was clear. will see if he comes back! :)

I think dreams can tell us

I think dreams can tell us soooo much!! 1) I've had MANY dreams in which I am in love and in a happy relationship, but I haven't had one in real life yet. These dreams always make me realize what I have to look forward to and remind me not to be impatient or rush into anything. I find them especially fascinating because in them I experience a feeling that I have NEVER experienced in the realm of real life. It's almost like a divine revelation or something. How else could I have the capacity to feel that in a dream when i've never known it? 2) Last night I had some of my recurring dreams. In one I was driving a car and couldn't keep it under control. In another I had to fly on a plane against my will. Both are fears of mine. Obv. they're just reminding me that i'm afraid of those things. But I'm sure there's more if I really contemplate them.
