More about Me: I'm all about people being the best versions of themselves. My ma thinks I'm a Life Coach in the making, but we'll see...for now I am interested in Health & Wellness editorial/publishing and our new philanthropic project "30 Deeds, 30 Days." I grew up outside of a small town in Boston, Mass and spent most of my childhood drawing, writing stories, reading and being tutored for math. Don't ask me to do long division in my head, but if you need me to give a presentation infront of 300, that's cool. Have my Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism from Ithaca College and what do you know - I don't even like the news. Enjoyed working in broadcast media sales, then marketing and now I'm finishing my master's degree in Publishing.

Favorite Music: John Mayer,James Morrison, The Fray, Paramore, Matt Nathanson, John Legend, Ray LaMontagne, Colbie Cailat, Etta James, David Gray, Coldplay, and Missy Higgins to name a few. I also have a "healthy" obsession with Soundscapes.

Favorite Books and Writers: No More Monsters for Me is a childhood favorite. Love all the Hay House authors...if you and I met up in B&N, you'd find me in the Pyschology or Self-Development section!

I can't live without: Dark chocolate. Next question?

I am most proud of: being part of Skirt! and the Skirt! community...practicing a "why not?" attitude...I am in the final stages of earning my Master's Degree in Writing & Publishing from Pace University and have recently gotten married and moved to Jersey City...NYC is right outside my dining room.

I am most guilty of: Over thinking, who isn't?

The world would be a better place, if only: people had more empathy for one another, smiled more and took care of their minds, bodies and spirits.

Interests: Your story. It's true. I'd much rather learn about you than talk about myself, but since you asked I'll share :) I am learning to connect with my creativity on a soul level. What does that mean? I am most interested in spending time working on projects that connect to my heart. I enjoy all things healing and inspirational. You can find me wandering the aisles of Whole Foods or dipping my toes in at the beach. Love vegetarian and vegan cooking, kayaking, hiking, yoga and biking or snowy Saturdays on the couch. Also, once a year my husband and I travel somewhere internationally. Apple picking, spending time with my family and friends (there can never be enough cookouts), and spending time with people who have a zest for life is all important to me. Red wine, black & white photography, white lilies, "The Office," and reading are all things that I enjoy!
