My celebration of the 4th of July was running the Peachtree Road Race. The largest 10k in the world. Being that I have just had a baby in January, I only had 3 month to train. My baby was delivered via emergency c-section. There was a shapes and sizes, fitness levels on the race course. Some of the "fitter" runners were a little put out with all the "walkers". I did pretty good the first half and soon realize I didn't have enough training for the 6.2 miles in the middle of summer, Georgia heat.
