Let's just say you and the hubs have lost your jobs and you’re down on your luck, so, as a hobby, you’ve started digging through the gas station's trash for discarded scratch-off tickets. Who knows? You just might win something. Then, let's say you won $1 million off of one of these thrown away tickets, paid off all of your debt, gave your kids some money, bought a truck and then the gas station sued you?
