Oh my, I am now discovering the joys of menopause.  At first I thought the hot feelings were simply sugar rushes.  Boy, was I wrong!  The sweeping sense of heat from an oven, then chills from a freezer were not from sugar but from hormone levels gone awry.  Suddenly, I want to tear faces off and scream.  This of course is not me at all.  Well, at least since I was a teenager and had horrible PMS.
