Well well well...tomorrow’s my last day as skirt! editor, and this will probably be my last blog as skirt! editor (that’s not to say you won’t hear from me later – I’m intending to blog occasionally as a regular old civilian).  I wish I had something earth-shattering to say to you, some brilliant parting words, but I’m struggling to find them.

It’s been a crazy/busy/beautiful/ stressful/encouraging/discouraging/educational year, and I wouldn’t take it back for nothin’.  In celebration of that fact, we’re having a Happy One-Year Anniversary skirt! party this weekend at the Southern Women’s Show, and I’ll be there, Brenda, your new fearless leader will be there, and men in skirts will be there.

It all starts at 5:30pm, and it’s only $5 to get in.  $5!  That’s cheaper than a cocktail.  And did I mention there’ll be cake? And swag bags?

Come out, celebrate where skirt! has been and where it’s going, say goodbye to me, and hello to Brenda.  It’s all happening at the NC State Fairgrounds.
