Not A Paris fan, but hey I watched!

Last week I did something that I probably wouldn’t admit to many people; I watched a full episode of Paris Hilton’s new show Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. Now I am in no way a Paris Hilton fan, and in the past I have even chuckled at her lameness and lack of intelligence, but last Tuesday night as I was channel surfing I came across her new show and for some odd reason I stopped to take a peek.

I’d seen previews of the show and had not been the least bit tempted to watch. I had honestly been amused that anyone would be that desperate for public attention that they would try out for a show to be someone’s best friend. But then I thought about it and it isn’t just anyone’s BFF (best friend forever) It’s Paris Hilton’s BFF so for some that are die hard Paris HIlton fans this was the chance of a lifetime.

This particular episode Paris challenged her BFF contestants  to a “24 Hour Party Challenge”. The contestants had to party all night, non-stop, club hopping and even partying on a boat to show Paris who could party the hardest and the longest. In the end two contestants puked, wine was poured over one’s head and one forgot herself and got a little too loose with a perfect stranger. Can we say Good times!!! lol

In the end Onch the oh so dramatic, oh so girly bisexual boy won the 24 Hour Party Challenge and was allowed to sleep...that was his prize, a nap after 24 hours of partying.

Overall I must admit the show kept me completely entertained. Which was due to the fact that there was a combination of the attention holding characteristics that any successful reality television show must have; drama, a cat fight, a bitch and competion. Paris Hilton’s My New BFF had all of those, along with a bisexual Asian guy, how could this show not be entertaining?

As for myself, I never would have imagined that I would willingly watch a show about Paris Hilton and enjoy it, but in this case I did, and plan to watch this week also. I don’t know what has come over me, but I like the show, I guess it’s Paris Hilton, after all she is HAWT (blank stare)
