The gorgeous and fun Toyz of a Makeup artist!
By beautyandskinchef, Friday, September 11, 2009Thank you for reminding me...I forgot to mention last night. It's all about the makeup brush! You can't eat soup with chopsticks and you can't make up your face without these professional toyz. I have a "Pretty in pink" HAPPY colored makeup brush set. I buy makeup brushes ala carte and a sleek empty case for travel. This way I have a custom made and hand picked brush set and sponges that I want. Not what the set at a store may dictate to me to buy.
It's more fun this way and I adore powdering my face and painting my pout with colorful not basic black brushes. Even my blow dryer is happy pink!Color your world with the below essentials.
The key must have makeup brushes to own:
A fabulous fan brush for blush (this is a blush brush for dummies)
A sponge on a stick for foundation
A blending brush for your eyes which is applied like a windshield wiper moves.
A luscious lip brush
A taklon type concealer brush for applying and blending
A Cutsie Wootsie Kabuki Powder Brush (short and sqautty and it gives a flawless application)
An eyelash seperator and spiral brush
A brow brush
A contour brush for my chubby Polish cheeks!
A contour/angle detail brush for eyelining and blending
Now, you're good to go on my personal makeup kit ! Today was a very busy day shopping and girl time.
Gotta run...New York City awaits me. I am eating at the Asian restaurant where Sex and The City in the movie Sar.. Jesca ..Parker had dinner with her fiance and friends the night before her wedding. Delicious and a great place to meet men!
I am happy and married...but adore this two story food mecca!!!
