I'm not even going to try to come up with an absence excuse this time.

Cupid's at it again!

This year, be your own Valentine! Love yourself, and you will shine. Smart Girl shows you how to spread the love.

2-4-6-8, Who Do We Appreciate?
Sprinkle your morning with sunshine by giving yourself a pep talk! In your prettiest penmanship, write yourself a few words of encouragement and post them to your mirror. Need some ideas? “Hello, pretty princess!” or “Good morning, you beautiful thing!” For an extra boost of happiness, write your notes in glitter markers!

Queen for the Day!
Spoil yourself. This day is all about wonderful, marvelous you! Look at the stars. Watch three hours of your favorite guilty pleasure TV show and don’t feel guilty about it. Buy yourself that fire-engine red nail polish you’ve been dying to try. Eat Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food ice cream right out of the carton. Hey, it’s okay to splurge every once in a while!

Be Your Own BFF.
You’re not flawed; you’re fabulous! Take a break from criticizing yourself and appreciate all of the things that make you the superstar you are. Embrace your wild mane. Love every one of your freckles. Share your sparkling smile with the world. And don’t forget to strut your stuff—every sidewalk is your runway.

Spread the Love!
Show your favorite people some love by doing something that you both enjoy. Go on a bike ride with your older brother. Talk about current events with your mom. Build Lego creations with your younger sister. Watch a sunrise with your dad. Camp out in your backyard with some friends. Take time to give all of your relationships a little dose of TLC.
