My First Pyramid Scheme

Last Friday, I asked my husband to take me on a budget date night, and he brought me to a co-worker's house for chips and dip. In the livingroom full of strangers, fold-up chairs were set up in front of the television. I thought it odd, but who am I to judge ones house party. After a 20 minute slide show, and a guy exclaiming how psyched he was about this great opportunity, my husband wrote down his credit card and social security card number on a peice of white paper reading "Investor Membership". $400 later, my husband is now an "Investor", and has to get four more "Investors" to get his money back. I told my mother, and she told me they were selling our information to the Phillipines. I believe her.
