More about Me: I am mid thirty something. Ok, ok....I'm 35. The number used to scare me, but it's just a number and not how I truly feel....that being much younger. I have lived in the Upstate of South Carolina for the majority of my life. I received my under graduate degree in Communications and Political Science from Clemson University....Go Tigers! My MBA was attained through long hours of after work classes at Webster University. I hope to one day become a writer.....WAIT! I am a writer, just an unpublished one! Perhaps one day my ship will come in, and the many publishers of the world will realize how lost and incomplete their portfolio of writers and books is without me and mine. Tis a dream, I know, but again my mantra states it best......Pessimism leads to weakness, optimism to power.
Favorite Music: What mood am I in today? Music itself is such a wonderful thing. If I were to lose the ability to hear melodies and voices, my life would sink down into a pit of despair.

I am most proud of: My mind. While I may not be of the Nobel Prize winning caliber, I consider my mind one of my greatest assets. It's constantly moving, it's constantly growing, and it's constantly making me a better person.
I am most guilty of: Allowing material possessions and accomplishments to dictate my self worth.

The world would be a better place, if only: People would take a step back and remember that we're only here for such a short time. Tomorrow is never a guarantee. One hour from now is never a guarantee. Live life fully, be happy, and be whole.
Interests: Do you want the standard interests and hobbies? Well, if so, I'm an avid, reader, writer, and runner. I love to cuddle up on the couch with my husband, a good book, my dog, and nice hot cup of tea. If you want to know what I find interesting, it's people who have a sense of entitlement, the fact that Christianity is being publicy persecuted around the world, and family planning surgery.

About Me: I'm 35 and have spent the better part of my life convincing myself I didn't want to become a mother. As a matter of fact, I've written a couple of blogs for Skirt! about my desires to not become a mother, but now things have changed. I'm looking to be a full time mother before the year is up and my experiences have been a hormone laced roller coaster ride of never-ending drama and excitement.
