Happy New Year!  Looking to boost your blog traffic in 2009?  Then here’s 2009’s first tip:  If you’re a LinkedIn user, search the “Groups” area with the keyword “blogger.”

You’ll find several groups of bloggers who are focused on various topics.  By linking back to your own blog in your comments, you will drive other group members to your blog.  

You can also search for “blog,” which produces some interesting groups that you might want to join. 

The more groups you join on LinkedIn, the more traffic your blog will get.  I have had people sign up for my email newsletter and write personal emails to me just by joining a group.  Give it a try!
