24 Hours of Reality
By Skirt.com, Friday, September 9, 2011, 3 commentsBeginning at 7pm our time, The Climate Reality Project will broadcast 24 Hours of Reality live online from September 14 to 15. Each hour people living with the reality of climate change will connect the dots between recent extreme weather events, including floods, droughts and storms, and the manmade pollution that is changing our climate. They will offer a round-the-clock, round-the-globe snapshot of the climate crisis in real time. The Climate Reality Project, founded and chaired by Al Gore, Nobel Laureate and former Vice President of the United States, is bringing the facts about the climate crisis into the mainstream and engaging the public in conversation about how to solve it. Their goal is to “help citizens around the world reject the lies and take meaningful steps to bring about change.”
