By Skirt.com, Tuesday, March 2, 2010My work: I write and produce mostly short-form videos and do some studio directing.
I am most proud of: I learned to run a studio camera when I was 14. More than 30 years later, television lets me work in a way that I'm able to inform, educate, and entertain audiences of all ages.
I am guilty of: procrastination.
The one item that has changed my life: television. I was awed by a TV studio when I was two, the scoop lights, huge cameras, the magic they illuminated and communicated.
My favorite body part: my hands.
The food I could eat every day: French toast, with extra sugar on the side.
The most important thing I ever lost: the nerve I had as a small child.
My best friend says I am: creative, resourceful, whimsical, and inquisitive.
I still can’t get the hang of: cleaning house. Good thing my husband Daniel vacuums.
I’d like to learn to: meditate.
Something most people don’t know about me: give me a sock; I can turn it into a peculiar-looking stuffed critter.
My first job: I've never had a "job" job with benefits. My first business was babysitting in my teens.
Best one-liner you ever heard: "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." ~Groucho Marx
Early bird or night owl?: Night owl. Always. Since birth.
When I grow up, I want to be: If I'm not grown up by now, I never will be!
At the end of a long day, the first thing I want to do is: Nap.
I wish… on stars and birthday candles and Chinese fortune sticks.
